Tania Costa is a Toronto-based Portuguese-Canadian artist whose paintings have been shown at Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, The Artist Project, and Art Toronto - Canada's art fair. In addition, she is the recipient of the MOCA Toronto Mentorship Program, and Propeller Art Gallery Emerging Artist Award. Costa's works primarily focus on the exploration of her relationship with her cultural heritage and how this has shaped her sense of self.

I am an emerging contemporary artist whose focus is creating work that depicts the weight of tradition, identity, and emotion on the female form.
